Designed by veteran pro bodyboarders Jay and Vicki Reale, we've added a bat tail option to one of our best-selling boards for those that want a bit looser ride.

Let's face it...you're not the svelt, waify type. Your physical presence is a bit larger than the average person, and you need a board to match. Enter the Chief Flex Bat Tail. Engineered to bring high performance to the 200lb-plus rider, the Chief Flex has every bit the high-tech design and construction of any high-end board, but with a bit more girth and volume to keep you gliding with the best of 'em! We've optimized the Chief Flex for cooler water or riders wanting more give to their board by going with one stringer to give the Chief Flex a bit more spring once you break it in. It offers a lower-density polypro core, single A-grade stringer, HD bottom, graduated channels and a layer of Skintec stiffener under the deck to give it just the right amount of flex for cooler waters or riders that want a bit of bend in their ride.
